Well the itch to go camping just needed to be scratched so we packed up the tent and ATV and spent 3 days up in the peace and quiet of Plasket Meadows. While everyone was enjoying triple digi weather at home in the Valley, we enjoyed perfect days of 80ยบ weather and nice cool evenings. I hadn't slept that well in months!It was rather dry up there this year; We had a lot less rain this year and it showed up there; very few flowers to be had and little or no water in the stream beds. As it goes sometimes.
I was still able to get a few pictures of "critters" - we saw a couple really nice bucks and alot of does, of course. Saw two sets of twin fawns - so tiny. We had a good time tho' - lots of trail riding on the ATV - I did 99% of the driving while Mike checked out the area for upcoming hunting season.
